Being with myself

Whenever I am away; Michael Buble song keep ringing into my mind.
Its coming towards end of winter now in frankfurt; another summer day is coming in no time...
In Paris, Rome and every other places...

I Really I wanna go home. I miss someone dear to my heart.
I miss a small crampy and fully stuffed house in singapore...Well a.k.a pigeon hole:)

Its again another 8 days journey; Its frankfurt today; tomorrow will be in New York.
I know I am lucky but sometimes I ain't feel overwhelmed with joy.
The wind blows so hard outside; I could feel a harsh slapping to my glass window.
It makes me feel lonelier...

I just had a great time dining in a fine restaurant with a bunch of great friends.
Great fun, laughs, jokes and fantastic food.
But deep inside I know it's not enough...
I am yearning from peace that comes from heaven above and assurance of God that everything is gonna be alright.
Yeah I live a tough life but my God is tougher to overcome all the loneliness and emptiness.
I need to pray and I need to feel His presence in me.

I am waiting for the wonderful plans in my life.
Those dreams of live high and those desires that are not fulfilled yet...
I am pretty certain everything will come right in place when my God says so...

I heard some voices are shouting I am not good enough; I am not Alexander the Great; thus I am limited.
But the assurance of faith and peace overcomes it all...
Thanks be to God for the great parents that never fail to show me their unconditional love.
For the great teacher and friends that teaches me how to love and live a selfish life.
And thanks to the job leaves my eyes wide open to see the world and its beauty...
I am ready for every new tasks, every new challenges and every new problems that would shake my faith.
But God saves the day!!!

And I am saved by His grace!!!
I wanna live high, live mighty, live righteously and that my life would become a testimony of How great the Father love is.
And when I have abundant; I would be the blessings for the poor and the courage for the weak.
I am a child of God and will always be...

I love me and I will love others as much as how I love me!!!

Thanks God!

MY 14th FebruaRy 2010

HEY!
Here I go again..
Second day in Milano; started it with a big hearty breakfast at Doubletree Hotel Restaurant.
I had pineapple yoghurt, scramble eggs, turkey sausages, bacon, muffin, bread rolls and omelette with ham and cheese.
Am sure you can't imagine how big my stomach is; in order to contain those food.
But again...I did it well... I had cappuccino and complete my meal with grapefruit juice.

I took a slow walk to the tram stop just outside the hotel.
I made my way to DUOMO with 2 nice colleagues.
The temperature was about 8 degree celc; comfortable weather for me.
Cloudy and gloomy but in the absence of wind presence :)

Being the first time to Milan, I was very excited to see how DUOMO looks like and not to forget to browse through my shopping agenda.

DUOMO was magnificent!!!!
4 thumbs up and still counting...

Here is a lil info about DUOMO....
Milan's Duomo is the second largest Catholic cathedral in the world: only Seville Cathedral is larger (and St. Peter's Basilica doesn't count because it's not a cathedral).
Milan Cathedral is 157 meters long and 40,000 people can fit comfortably within.

The Duomo of Milan blurs the distinction between Gothic and neo-Gothic, for the Gothic west front was begun in 1616 and completed 200 years later. Only in its details does it reveal its Baroque and Neo-Classical date. From 1900 some of the less Gothic details of the facade were replaced in a true Gothic style, to designs of Giuseppe Brentano.

The roofline dissolves into openwork pinnacles that are punctuated by a grove of spires, topped with statues that overlook the city. The main spire is 109 meters high. These can all be investigated up close on a breathtaking walk on the roof.

The huge building is made of brick faced with marble from the quarries that Gian Galeazzo Visconti donated in perpetuity to the cathedral chapter.

I was a amazed at how great God is.
Thanks for the wisdom and knowledge for humankind to be able to build such a magical building!

"What a wonder it is! So grand, so solemn, so vast! And yet so delicate, so airy, so graceful!" --Mark Twain

It's valentine's day today so BACI (perugina) has got some photo booth or couple; it looks like some photo contest to me tho' seeing the facts that people are lining up and waiting for their turn to take picture.

Let me show you what i've got today!

This LV Damier Graphite Reversible Belt is not belong to me.
My relative asked me if I could get one for him; coz its definitely worth of money getting it in italy. Anyway I got it and he would definitely thank me for that! Its worth 390 euro >.<

I did not have the intention to buy more clothes and more pants and more dresses and more shoes anymore! (keep my fingers crossed) hehehe.... but when I saw this navvy blue cropped pants; am in love in it and again I break my promises to myself.
Well...its a treat on valentine's day!!! (arrghhh...another excuses again; but just this one please!)

That's all about today; its 4pm local time; am gonna rest well and sleep well coz I have to work tomorrow!!!
My sleeping beauty is the most important after all...

So I wish everybody enjoy the festive celebration and I Hope St. Valentine send his cupid to bring love to everyone!!!

God bless you... Have a great time!!!!

Enjoy

Reunion Dinner

I am in milano right now!

Feeling sad and blue coz my folks are having reunion dinner at home with family; whilst i am here with strangers that I barely know for a day.

Thanks God for his protection and guardian angel that I arrived safely and what a bunch of great people I am working with.

So here was I; unpacked; washed up; got connected to the internet for an hour before I slept.

I got up at nearly 3pm (milan GMT+1) and went down to the lobby to meet colleagues at 6pm.

We went to this italian restaurant nearby and had a great great time.

Jokes, laughter and happiness color the atmosphere at the restaurant.

It was 15 of us altogether and the 4 of us shared fruiti di mare, lobster linguini, rocket salad salami pizza and tiramisu.

I had lemon soda for the drink; I regretted that I didn't snap a picture of it.

Well... It feels like family; even when you are at your utmost loneliness sharing a great fun over the meal together.

Thank God my reunion dinner was done pretty well and I had a great time!!

Mommy must have cooked plenty of nice food at home; imagining my siblings having the meal and great conversation made me blue.
Trust me, I would definitely go back home for chinese new year in 2011.
Mom and Daddy...I really miss you guys alot!!!!

Well...GONG XI FAT CHOI GUYS!!!!

and yea...sad to say this...but HAPPY VALENTINE'S!!!

Have a great celebration with loved ones!!!!
